The International Malaysian Society of Maritime Law (IMSML) was launched in 2016 with a single objective in mind - to assist in the advancement of Malaysian maritime and arbitration laws, and practices, and to forge cross-broader exchange of ideas and ideals. The Maritime Law Association of Singapore (MLAS) aims to promote the study and advancement of maritime law and its administration in Singapore, and to promote and consider with other associations proposals for the unification of maritime law and practice of different nations. “Comité Maritime International (CMI)” is a non-governmental not-for-profit international organization established in Antwerp in 1897, the object of which is to contribute by all appropriate means and activities to the unification of maritime law in all its aspects.
